You are a recent univeristy grad in either international development, or a business related field. You are looking to gain experience in the not for profit industry. You are a self starter with excellent attention to detail. You believe that technology has the power to change lives.
Programmers 4 Peace is in search of a Global Partnership and Grant Writing Intern to manage several grant-related projects. Possible projects include designing a program to capture narrative stories of people who have been impacted by our programs. We are looking for pivotal stories that will help us to tell our funders about Programmers 4 Peace's impact. In addition, we are hoping to more effectively partner with organizations across the globe to create opportunities for access to tech education.
The position provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in business writing/proposal writing and narrative storytelling. In addition, our intern will learn about full-cycle grant management, including application process, budgeting, scoping, and submitting a grant.
Our intern will also learn how to reach out to and form partnerships with existing tech companies. This is an amazing opportunity for networking.
This is a remote position
10 - 20 hours per week, flexible schedule.
